Common questions

Where do I start if I'm brand new to trading? +
Start with the Free Starter Guide — it covers the absolute basics of how markets work, what key terms you need to know, and what you actually need to get going. From there, the Trading Course walks you through everything step by step at your own pace. No experience needed whatsoever.
How much money do I need to start? +
You can start learning and practicing with zero capital using a paper trading (simulated) account. For live trading, the amount depends on the market — forex and crypto can be started with smaller amounts, while futures and stocks may require more. I always recommend mastering the skill before risking real money.
What markets do you focus on? +
I primarily cover futures (ES, NQ, MES, MNQ), forex, and crypto. My strategies are built on price action and market structure — concepts that apply across all major markets. Whatever market you prefer, the foundation I teach transfers directly.
Do I need special software or tools? +
Not to start. TradingView (free version) is all you need for charting and analysis. For Crescent Tier members, Wolf Chart is required and available via the affiliate link in the Products section. I also provide my own Trade Journal template to help you build consistency from day one.
What is The Trading Roux Discord? +
The Trading Roux is the CreoleTrades community — where the real work happens. You'll find daily watchlists, live trade reviews, Q&A sessions, accountability partners, and a crew of traders at all levels pushing each other forward. The community is the product. Link is in the Products section above.
What is the Crescent Tier? +
The Crescent Tier is a membership level inside The Trading Roux Discord with access to premium content, closer mentorship, and exclusive resources. Crescent Tier members are required to have Wolf Chart, which you can get through the affiliate link in the Products section.
